Zheravna Village is “the amber of the South Balkan Range”. It is about 110 km to the northwest of the major South Black Sea Port – Burgas, and about 50 km to the northeast of the district center – the town of Sliven. Zheravna is situated in the core of an amazingly picturesque region, where are nestling a number of other small towns and villages, featuring great history and unique renaissance archi-
tecture – Kotel, Medven, Gradetz, Katunishte, Ney-
kovo, and Ichera. All of these towns and villages are remarkable for their spiritual power heritage of some prominent revolu-
tionaries and writers of the Bulgarian National Revival, as well as for the paragons of authentic Bulgarian architecture conserved till nowadays.
